Queensland Skilled Occupation Lists (QSOL)

Migration Queensland will be selecting occupations on The Department of Home Affairs relevant list of eligible skilled occupations (LIN 19/051) for onshore applicants in Queensland. A Queensland Skilled Occupation List (QSOL) for offshore applicants is available here.

Please see relevant pages for specific criteria in each stream:

  • Skilled workers living in Queensland
  • Skilled workers living offshore
  • Graduates of a Queensland university
  • Small business owners operating in regional Queensland

Australia and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations (ANZSCO) and Assessing Authorities

ANZSCO is a system developed to collect, publish, and analyse occupation statistics across government agencies – including information for all visa, settlement, and citizenship programs. Migration Queensland uses it within the skilled visa program to assess whether a visa applicant has the skills needed to undertake a specific occupation.

The relevant Assessing Authority for ANZSCO is listed against each occupation in the Legislative Instrument (LIN 19/051).

Below is a list of the abbreviations for the Assessing Authorities. For more information, see the Department of Home Affairs website.
