The Contact Us form is the best way to ask Migration Queensland your question. Due to the volume of enquiries we receive, we are unable to respond to all questions.

Many questions we receive can be answered by reading our Frequently Asked Questions or the program criteria pages for each pathway.

Migration Queensland will not respond to questions regarding:

    • the status of your Expression of Interest (EOI) or Registration of Interest (ROI)
    • the chance of being invited
    • special consideration of your EOI or ROI, including expiring visas and documents, birthdays or if you do not meet requirements
    • enquiries not related to visa subclasses 190, 491, 188, 888, 132, 405.

Migration Queensland is not involved in the selection or processing of Skilled Independent visas (subclass 189).

Migration Queensland is only involved in the state nomination component of the visa process. Once you have lodged your visa application with the Department of Home Affairs, the processing of your visa is handled by them. Migration Queensland is unable to respond to questions about:

    • ImmiAccount or SkillSelect passwords and account access
    • your Home Affairs visa application 
    • requests to extend the 60 day deadline to lodge your visa application
    • Home Affairs requested documents, including police or health checks
    • Home Affairs processing times
    • Decisions made by Home Affairs.
